Built by Farmers, for Farmers
Founded by Dan and Brooke, TaskTrak was created by farmers for farmers. Farming in Western Victoria they saw how easy it was for critical jobs to be seen but quickly forgotten during busy times.
They set about creating a solution where everyone – from management and employees to family members – could log jobs that need doing around the farm even if noticed while carrying out other tasks.
At first they wanted an app to replace the ‘jobs to do’ notebook. But they soon realised there was potential for major efficiency gains by allowing users to attach photos, pin locations and add equipment and material lists to each task.
Furthermore, the ability to put dated deadlines on each task and allocate them to specific team members while keeping the app simple and user-friendly, yet quick to use, were priorities in the development of TaskTrak. Dan and Brooke, their family and their staff have been testing TaskTrak on their own farm for a couple of months now and have found its more than just managing jobs.
